About these readings
Averages are weighted by play count; a plain song list counts each song once. Each column has its own range. Select a column to see its full readout. The Ë column uses hundreds of beats: 2 means 200 Ë.
Ë uses an imported beat count or the analyzed song curve when available; otherwise it is calculated from song duration × BPM ÷ 60. The BPM scale is 40–300; Ë, time and fluctuation start at 0 and expand for larger values. Genre uses a fixed low-to-high energy ordering for the white bar; the genre name itself is still chosen by your play counts.
Approx. BPM fluctuation uses the time-weighted mean absolute deviation around an analyzed song's mean BPM. Before audio analysis, database/profile songs can use a conservative estimate anchored to the best known or community-corrected BPM plus available metadata; real audio analysis replaces that estimate. The last VFD character shows the reading’s actual + or − sign.
Genre comes from supplied song metadata. Readings use songs with the required data; coverage appears above. Import BPM, duration and genre data, or analyze matching songs in the Player, to fill missing readings.
